We got to spend most of the whole week leading up to the 4th of July at the BH this year. It was glorious! We came back up on Tuesday and spent two nights as a family, fishing, eating smores, and reading Super Fudge.
Then, on Thursday, the Sneathens joined in. We played around a little before heading into town to see the fireworks. They did not disappoint! We've begun a tradition where we go early with a cooler packed with drinks and snacks and play some wiffleball and/or kickball with the locals. It's a lot of fun. This year we brought along the washer toss game, too. Aunt Lisa and Christmas joined us and played along. It was a good time.

Shel and Todd and the boys stayed 2 nights and Daniel tried out the hammock this time. He discovered he liked it and divided his time between it and the trampoline. We headed to the beach on Friday and played around.
At night, the grown ups played a new game called "Stack-o-derm". If you guessed it meant piling tokens on the back of an elephant and then taking them off without knocking any down, you'd be right! It took a very steady hand and intense concentration, as seen here in Dan and Todd's faces! In the end, Shelly was the weiner, I mean winner!

The biggest story of the Sneathen visit was Zachary catching 40 fish! The boy was on fire! This included his first "wall of fame" large mouth bass! Way to go, Zach!Bravo! Magnifique!
